Nowy Porządek Świata (in relation to its effects: The New World Order) is, or rather it was, a term introduced to name the fundamental changes in great politics, taking place after the end of the First and then Second World Wars, the creation of the League of Nations, the United Nations, and also in relation to the balance of power that developed in the 1950s and later, when in the mid-1980s Ronald Reagan had the dominance of the United States in the Cold War struggle with the USSR. This term has become the basis for conspiracy theories claiming a secret organization that will take over the entire planet.

In the graphic and painting project Nowy Porządek Świata, I followed this growing, incoherent, but somehow fascinating conglomeration of more or less absurd claims. My goal was to learn and describe a structure presenting an alternative vision of reality to the generally accepted one.

Starting from the classic 18th-century narrative in which the Templars, Masons, Jesuits, Jews and Illuminati became the heroes of conspiracy theories, I gradually reached the countercultural visions emerging today among American Christian fundamentalists. This, in turn, led me to events from mainstream politics that were (and sometimes still are) considered ambiguous, to the dramas that were unfolding before everyone's eyes while I was implementing the project or shortly before.

The "Nowy Porządek Świata" series consists of twenty-two oil paintings and is part of a larger project that includes eleven more aquatints.

The aquatints "Sepsis", "Bilderberg" and "Artificial Fog" won the Grand Prix at the 8th Polish Print Triennial in Katowice (2012).
