Design of a library as a multifunctional home, intended to build a community of inhabitants of a small town. The project encompassed all the rooms: the reading room and the main library; the library for children, common areas, social and employees’ rooms, toilets. All material solutions had to meet strict European standards. The space has a coherent idea related to the patron of the library, Stanisław Wyspiański. Large-sized wallpapers featuring the artist’s works have become an integral part of the interior through the use of colours and materials. The reading room also performs the function of a lecture space – with the possibility of multimedia projections – as well as a workshop studio: the form of the tables allows to change their configuration depending on the needs.
